
Rob Barber
Chief Executive Officer
Rob Barber is chief executive officer of Environmental Data Resources, the nation’s leading provider of environmental risk management reports for companies and properties. As CEO, Rob oversees EDR’s vision and strategy and is ultimately responsible for the company’s performance.
Throughout his 19 year tenure at EDR, Rob has moved progressively through a variety of roles, which has given him a broad range of experience across EDR’s operations and markets. Prior to becoming CEO in 2005, Rob served as the company's president; before that, he was chief operating officer. Rob has also held multiple positions within the company's national sales organization, including vice president of sales and regional manager, where he was responsible for opening EDR offices in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.
A proven leader, Rob has spearheaded major initiatives to develop proprietary property records and web-based workflow applications that improve the end user experience. In 2008, he led the team that created commonground, the multiple award-winning global social network for professionals involved in property due diligence and risk assessment.
A graduate of Fairfield University, Rob is a member of the board of directors of the Software and Information Industry Association's Content Division; he also serves as a non-executive director of BuildFax, the nation's leading provider of property-specific building permit and contractor information.
James B. Stanton
Executive Vice President, Products & Marketing
As executive vice president of products and marketing, James Stanton oversees EDR’s product management, marketing, digital and social media, and business development teams.
Prior to joining EDR in 2010, James spent four years with Gartner (NYSE: IT), the world’s leading information technology research and advisory firm. As vice president, product management, and later vice president, corporate marketing, his responsibilities spanned every aspect of product development, management, and marketing for B2B products aimed at IT end users and technology service providers.
James has a diverse background within the marketing field. Previous to Gartner, he worked for global agencies where he led account teams for brands such as Bank One (now Chase) and GlaxoSmithKline. He has also worked within the food and beverage/entertainment industry, where he held the senior marketing director post for Hard Rock International.
James holds a bachelor of arts degree from Williams College and a master of fine arts degree in design and technology from Parsons School of Design.

Jon Walker
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Jon leads EDR's Sales and Marketing team, which is dedicated to supporting our client’s growth.
Jon’s EDR career spans two decades. After joining the company in 1992 as an Account Executive, he held multiple positions within the national sales organization. Jon has served as managing director of EDR’s corporate, legal and government services group, and regional vice president of lender services.
He is a member of the ASTM’s E50 Environmental Assessment Committee. Jon is also co-chair of its E1528 ASTM Task Group, which developed and published “E1528-06 Standard Practice for Limited Environmental Due Diligence: Transaction Screen Process.”
In addition to leading a EDR's talented and fun team, Jon spends as much time as he can with family, and on the golf course, basketball court and softball field with friends. He is also a very proud father.
Jon graduated from Skidmore College, where he majored in business and economics. He lives in Fairfield, Connecticut, with his wife and daughter.
Beth Skrzyniarz, SPHR
Executive Vice President, Human Resources
Beth Skrzyniarz is the executive vice president of human resources for EDR, responsible for building and applying best practices in human resources that allow EDR to recruit, develop and retain the top talent in the industry.
Prior to joining EDR in 2005, Beth held multiple positions in human resources in various industries. In 2000, she joined a start-up firm in Manhattan, where she was responsible for developing the company’s human resources department from scratch. Beth’s experience at that company led to further opportunities with startups; she worked at two different national companies specializing in home services before joining EDR.
Passionate about giving back to the community, Beth has spearheaded EDR’s participation in numerous charitable ventures associated with the American Cancer Society and Zandra’s kids. Throughout the year, employees support Daffodil Days, Camp Rising Sun, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, along with an annual toy drive in December.
A graduate of Suffolk University, Beth is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has been a member of the Society for Human Resource Management since 1996.
Oreste Petillo
Chief Financial Officer
In his role as chief financial officer, Oreste A. Petillo manages the timely reporting of EDR’s financial results. Responsible for accounting, financial analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, and audit, he also helps with strategic planning, corporate compliance, and contract management.
Oreste joined EDR in 1996 as controller, and was promoted to vice president of finance in 2000. Prior to joining EDR, he spent five years in public accounting serving a variety of clients.
Oreste graduated from the University of Connecticut. He has been a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants since 1994.
George Orlov
Chief Architect, EDR
As chief architect for the dmgi property information companies (EDR, Landmark Information Group and Trepp), George Orlov spearheads IT strategy across the group with an eye toward improving efficiency, reliability and scalability.
Prior to joining dmgi, George was chief information and chief technology officer at Forrester Research, where he was responsible for ensuring that the company's IT strategy was tied directly to the company's overall business goals and mission. George has more than 28 years of experience in technology and consulting. The last 10 years have seen George in executive leadership positions in technology organizations.
Prior to joining Forrester, George served as the CIO and CTO for Callisma, a startup providing professional services dedicated to architecting, designing, implementing and optimizing the world's largest networks and technology infrastructures.
Prior to his tenure at Callisma, George was the VP/CIO of Pacific Gas & Electric in San Francisco and the VP/CIO of ComEd (now Exelon) in Chicago. As the most senior technology executive at these Fortune 500 companies, he led teams responsible for large, complex, mission-critical network, computing, application and business process change environments as they prepared for and executed the transitions accelerated by rapid energy industry restructuring.
George began his professional career at Simulation Physics, where he designed real-time nuclear instrumentation for optimizing survival of advanced reentry vehicles. Afterward, he joined SAIC, consulting in nuclear materials safeguards. For the next 12 years as an independent consultant, he gained extensive experience in the management of large, complex projects and began to concentrate on the application of information technologies to solve business issues. George earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass.
Dan Onofrio
Executive Vice President, Operations
As EVP of operations, Dan Onofrio ensures that EDR’s Data and Fulfillment departments run smoothly. Responsible for data acquisition, transformation and storage, Dan is also tasked with continually improving EDR’s data processes. On the order fulfillment side, Dan ensures that EDR’s products are produced in a manner that exceeds customer expectations across all vertical markets.
Dan’s career with EDR began in 1992, when he joined the company’s production department. Quickly progressing through a series of roles with increasing responsibility in Production and later EDR’s Data department, Dan was promoted to his current role in August 2011.
In his spare time, Dan serves as chair of the Young Professionals Board, Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce, a group established to help young professionals and entrepreneurs expand their careers, engage in community life and cultivate the next generation of leaders. Dan’s professional and personal engagement and commitment to his local community have earned him a 2009 Fairfield County’s 40 Under 40 award.
Dan graduated from the University of New Haven.
